we stand before each other and our friends with our eyes filled with
tears and our hearts filled with love. We promise to take a journey together called marriage. To share in the joys and disappointments, to laugh and cry with, to love and help each other. Marriage is not an easy road, but its traveled, two people side by side. Sometimes it’s dark, bumpy and the going is slow and hard, other times it’s a smooth cool drive in the summer. One thing is constant; No one knows what’s around the next corner, or just over the hill. Marriage changes people, a wife becomes a mother, a husband becomes a father. Love continues, ever changing, growing, and developing from best of friends to a love that can’t be described only felt. Sometimes we make mistakes, get lost, wrong turns are made. Sometimes the road seems closed or so dark the bridge back can’t be seen, but there is always a detour, a way back. No matter where this road may lead us, through the worst of storms or the sunniest of days. Don’t forget to look ahead to what’s around the corner, or over the hill. And if you look to your side I will be there. |

I wrote that for my ex (Not ex at the time) on our 9th wedding
anniversary. She must not have liked it because we never made it to 10. Yes, I have a goofy sense of humor! |

Very nice...
and she actually may have liked it justlooking, but sometimes it's easier to throw in the towel than to work hard at making things work... It takes two to make it right, and when YOU are the only one making an effort, then, well, unfortunately ya know what happens then... |

Thanks sweet.
yep, I know all to well. Anything worth having and keeping takes work. Just the end of one chapter in the book of my life and the begining of a new one! Can't wait to see this one!! |
