I cant help but think it is odd that there is a topic of relationship adive on a dating site...

After all, everyone knows how to start a relationship....

Not everyone understands how to start it correctly though...most just want to rush into it, thinking they are so in love...then they find out the truth of the one they thought they so loved and everything ends up going to hell..

You have to start as friends...keep it as that for a while, and get to know one another as friends, learn personal views, values, morals, etc....if you find that you see eye to eye on alot of issues, and that you can overlook the things you dislike in each other, and maintain a true friendship, then talk about taking the next step in your relationship...

Yes, I am single, but it is because of what I have just spoke of..
I watch and learned from my older sister..
her and her hubby were together for 12 years before they tied the knot...getting to know one another, and they are now happy, with one another...
My younger sister has been married for 5 years...and has 4 kids by her hubby, and another in the oven...both sisters, first marriage, and they are both content...because they got to know each other, before going all out in their relationship...

again, I am not meaning to sound smartass...I am simply stating my personal opinion, and observations...

All you have to do is have the desire for a real, loving, honest, faithful relationship...bith of you....if you both have that desire, then the rest will take care of itself....
