i personally think that infatuation will set in more than anything that would dictate a monogamous relationship. one (or both parties) will more-than-likely be in love with the fact they "got some" as well as the fact they're in contact with someone else, which won't translate too well when it comes time for the long haul.

forgive me if I'm wrong, but a "one night stand" is just that. If you meet again, than it's not a one night thingy any more. But, do people actually plan one night stands? I think that's unusual...but i'm far out anyways.

To say that any situation can result in a one night stand becoming permanent...is like saying that when the sun comes up, some people might get a sunburn. You've left out any kind of detail whatsoever. So I was just wondering if you were meaning anything in particular...or not at all.
