You duped me, O LORD, and I let myself be duped; you were too strong for me, and you triumphed. All the day I am an object of laughter; everyone mocks me. Whenever I speak, I must cry out, violence and outrage is my message; The word of the LORD has brought me derision and reproach all the day. I say to myself, I will not mention him, I will speak in his name no more. But then it becomes like fire burning in my heart, imprisoned in my bones; I grow weary holding it in, I cannot endure it.

The same as Jeremiah, the faithful sometimes get tired when he/she finds him or herself in the middle of a secularized world in which everybody makes fun of God.
Sometimes I just would like to stop, and let ignorance triumph. However, in the same way of the prophet, there is some sort of fire inside me which I can't endure. I need to keep speaking the word of my Father and my Lord. THERE IS NO WAY OUT FOR ME.

I bet that somebody will use this phrase: "violance and outrage is my message" to start the usual circular argument. Feel free.

I'm not exactly sure what your ultimate point is. I do think I get what you're saying about the feeling of futility we sometimes get...and I very much agree. Is there a point beyond that which is escaping me? Or is that all you were saying?

I know this is "technically" a dating site...but its really become much more than that.

There are many things in this life that I have found to be impossible to share with other people.

Sometimes you have to keep the best things to yourself. It's just the way life is.

If you feel a need to glorify and praise a specfic deity you should be able to find people who also want to do that. And the often hold events just for that purpose.

If you find yourself obsessed with a need to do it constantly you might want to consider looking into the obsession.

Seriously, anything that you find that distracting to the normal course of life should seriously be considered as a potential obsession.

If your belief in a deity is a source of frustration isn't that basically backfiring on the whole idea of religion in the first place? Isn't a belief in a God supposed to bring you peace? Not frustation?

Well I know what thing for sure for all of us concerning obsession is that we can't seem to get away from mingle. lol

God comes to me like a feeling of great joy. Spirit dwells in me and comes to me a step at a time. It is always a feeling of the greatest joy and love.

All discord falls away. All burdens fall away. A new door opens, a new path revealed. I hear the music, I see the light I feel the joy.

I can't reach the dept of my sorrow and compassion for those lost and in pain, nor can I see the end of the joy reaching out to me.

The message is clear to me.

None will be left behind.

Walk in love.

Love has come this way, the path of love is clearly before us.

Leave your burdens, forget your discord. Place your attention on the light of love, the path before us is clear.

No one will be left behind.
