Are we talking rose thorns or say locust? With whom am I traveling? Those kind of questions need to be quantified. them flat beautiful ones that are really easy to walk on. we are saying thorns enough to cut your skin. And you are travelling with the person whome you love most you dont appreciate the poetic message lol Poetically, it's beautiful. But the truisms of life also must be quantified. I liked the example used in "Stranger Than Fiction:" One must first take into account the type of life being led, and of course the quality of the pancakes. - Prof. Hibberd. The same can be said of your analogy. One must first take into account the type of thorn to be walked on, and of course the quality of the company with which you walk. |
