I think you said that before. Truck drivers sometimes get a bad rap. People think we have a girlfriend in every state. Have you seen some of us? We are not the best lookers. Most drivers have good heart. A lot of drivers ar Ex military. Most drivers just want someone to understand their Job, take care of Home, and them when they get Home. If they get that, you never have to worry about, how your going to Eat,Sleep, or Pay the Bills. Trust me you will have a hard time getting rid of them. Talk to a nice one. Its easy to weed out the bad ones.

Just a figure of speech

I used to think a trucker would make a perfect mate. You don't see them all the time, so you'd figure that would make time spent together more special.
BUT....
I met a truck driver on here. And he is the biggest loser I have met in many years. I helped him move to my town, let him stay with me for 2 weeks, bought and paid for everything he needed and wanted. I won't put his user name up, but he is the first on my friends list. He left owing me quite a bit of money.
I am sure there are some good ones still out there, but I'm not so sure I'm interested in the idea anymore.

I am sorry to hear that. When i was with my Ex, i use to bring her something home everytime. I tried to make her feel as special as i could. Go shopping with her, Take her out to the movies,dinner,make sure i did what needed to be done before i left again. It depends on the person. Some truck drivers think its all about them when they come off the road. You family is living their life without you there. You miss a lot, and its hard sometimes to care for their personal needs when your gone. Its like if they have a hard day at work, or if something breaks. Yea, you might make the phone call, but they have to deal with it. Sorry, we are not all bad
