I've been calling on Hermes on morning and I still don't have your phone number. I had to change it because Pan wouldn't stop calling. Good morning! Howya' doing today? |

My friend amd me designed a tarot deck.
In our tarot deck we added two cards. (A standard deck usually has 78 cards.) We added two. The dark priestess and the dark magician. The dark priestess is an innocent smiling face that comes to you as a friend but has a hidden agenda and is loyal to her master. Her master could be your enemy or it could be her own agenda or her own selfish motive. This poem is about the dark priestess. The Dark Priestess She smiles and shows a tear filled eye She bears a trivial gift She listens well; she is a spy.. She takes what she can lift. She shares your secrets and tells you lies And never feels regrets A promise broken is no surprise She usually always forgets. JB |

There are a couple of cards that would indicate one is being deceived in the Tarot deck, but nothing like this. I really like it. May I add this poem to my BOS, with full credit given to you as author, of course? |

Thursday:
Thursday is a Jupiter day. Here is the day of the week for prosperity, abundance, and good health. Thursday’s are “Thor’s day.” This Norse god gave the day his name and many of his attributes, including strength and abundance. Some suggestions for Thursday enchantments would include: - Wearing a regal and royal shade of blue to see how it affects your mood and your magic. Other colors for the day include purple and green. - Carrying a turquoise tumbled stone in your pocket to draw a little protective and healing energy your way - Incorporating honeysuckle blossoms and cinquefoil foliage into prosperity charms - Calling on Thor for abundance, or on the Roman god Jupiter for the ability to peacefully referee a fight - Adding a few oak leaves -- which are sacred to these Thursday gods -- to your charms to see how much better your spell works out - Casting a charm with wheat stalks for prosperity, and calling on Juno Moneta to bring wealth into your life - Baking up some whole wheat bread and blessing it for abundance. Be sure to thank the gods for your family and your good health. |

Book of Shadows. It's a book that most witches have where they write down their spells and magickal information they have accumulated. I have a whole section where I keep Tarot information in mine.

Cool.
You might like my poem about our Dark Magician. This card is a warning that someone means to do you harm or that someone is very angry. No other tarot decks have these two cards. The Dark Magician His anger grows like rampant cancer He plies his magic in the dark He seeks to harm and that’s his answer His bite is worse than his own bark His eyes upon you, watch your backs His poison flows to all who look He’ll take from you the things he lacks And write your names within his book Dark magic cometh, hear the drums The beat is hard to miss Something evil this way comes With poison in his kiss. JB Wow! Thanks. These are really good. When you made the decks did you do pictures for them as well? I like the idea of making your own deck. I have found that Tarot is something that you can be taught but only up to a point. Every reader reads differently and at some point you have to let the cards speak to you and ignore any other interpretations except for your own. |

I have found that Tarot is something that you can be taught but only up to a point. Every reader reads differently and at some point you have to let the cards speak to you and ignore any other interpretations except for your own. I agree. The cards actually teach me what they mean sometimes. The Dark magician originally was to mean that someone was casting an evil spell your way or was planning to do you harm in some way. Later in readings, it also showed itself to mean that someone was very very angry. We created the designs on our computers using different artwork and photos. Then we printed the deck and laminated the cards ourselves. This is the deck we use now, but we can't sell it because some of the images are copyright protected. We are currently doing a new deck with images from the old masters. Some of the cards are recognizable as an old master painting, and some look like a completely different paintings made from parts of old master works. They are awesome cards and this deck will rock the tarot community! There will be three books to go with our deck. One will be a standard book you can buy with the deck, then there will be a book written by me geared towards interpretation of images which are the universal language. The other book will be all about creating your own system of interpretation. We intend to have all the designs finish before the end of this year... hopefully. JB |
