I can't differentiate between a genuine interest and just the normal flirting that goes on between men and women. So, it would have to be more overt for me. I am the same way I take flirting as fluff you have to tell me straight out the interest is genuine. Not just a time killer~ |

From personal experience, I'd say as loud and as obvious as you can get.
Women have a very slim ability to get subtle hints that you like them, men even less ability. So be blunt, sure you might catch 'em a little off guard, but they won't miss what your saying. |

Ok Guys and Gals.. Do overt signals work better or covert signals when a girl or gal is getting your attention they are interested? Also, name a good way a guy or girl can grab your attention from all others and show you they are highly into you...  A girl at the campus bookstore gave me her phone number today, and I didnt even ask. Thats a pretty overt signal.
