I'm planning to make a dinner. I've settled on a Vegetarian Lasagna recipe but am kinda at a loss as to what to fix with it. Some sort of garlic bread, maybe?

While I fix meals for myself fairly often, I don't cook for others often, and need the practice to make a meal.

Any suggestions would be welcome

How about a simple green salad, or marinated artichoke salad?

Personally, I'd add a nice prime rib on the side, but that's just me...bigsmile

Am I too late to add my two cents?

I'd go for a spinach salad, tossed with some mandarin oranges, sliced almonds and vinaigrette of some sort.

How did it turn out?

Ain't got to it quite yet so it's all good.

I like the spinach salad. I'm always trying to find ways to sneak that into my diet.

I'm familiar with venison, my uncle hunts. but I think It might defeat the purpose.

well was breezing through and seen the post... guess if you are doing this to impress a woman for dinner that is not into meat. You could do a salad or garnish with several flowers. Actually the day lilly is a great tasting flower as well as violets. other types are also interesting flowering weisteria (tree type) is very sweet but some flowers are a little bitter so recommend small taste tests before hugh salad. This is also a very pretty dish!!
