I get in trouble for other things ... like this stupid fax machine that just stopped working. Apparently it's MY responsibility to get it up and running again. I can't make the guy drop everything he's doing to come and fix it.

We're not his only responsibility. He said he'd come by today with his supervisor .. why do I have to call and ask WHEN he's coming by? We've been without it for 2 days -- eight more hours ain't going to kill us. |

I have a happy hour and then to listen to a live band tomorrow night, a hair appt. early Sat., then going down to visit my parents and stay the night Sat. (Dad's not doing real well), and to visit Joy in the hospital sometime over the weekend.

Yes, tomorrow. Dad's been battling lung cancer for well over a year now. Thought they'd "gotten it" but it's growing again. He's 74, 6'2" and down to 146 lbs.

Well, I'm actually closer with Mom. Dad and I don't have all that much to talk about, but we do love each other very much and I visit them frequently.
