call me cold hearted but he chose a life of drugs and he faced the consequences....enough said drugs are drugs,so what does it matter what kind they are?he took them for the high, not for medical reasons and therefore he was a druggie |

And now the end is near So I face the final curtain My friend, Ill say it clear Ill state my case of which Im certain Ive lived a life thats full Ive traveled each and every highway And more, much more than this I did it my way Regrets, Ive had a few But then again, too few to mention I did what I had to do And saw it through without exception I planned each charted course Each careful step along the byway Oh, and more, much more than this I did it my way Yes, there were times, Im sure you know When I bit off more than I could chew But through it all when there was doubt I ate it up and spit it out I faced it all and I stood tall And did it my way Ive loved, Ive laughed and cried Ive had my fails, my share of losing And now as tears subside I find it all so amusing To think I did all that And may I say, not in a shy way Oh, no, no not me I did it my way For what is a man, what has he got If not himself, then he has not To say the words he truly feels And not the words he would reveal The record shows I took the blows And did it my way The record shows I took the blows And did it my way |

Regardless of how Elvis died that has nothing to do with the music he stands for or the talent that died with him.
Yeah he died due to and overdose of drugs that were prescriptions but... his death was not intentional by him at all. Once a person gets addicted to pain pills or any other sort of medication they no longer see the damage they can do they just have the need for more. With that said as far as his music myself I enjoyed it very much so and still have some of his Albums. To me he had one of the sexiest voices and the prettiest smiles that I can remember. Ohhh and ohhh my gawd he had moves most Men only dream of. |

Gotta' take the good with the bad. His "passing" meant that a lot of otherwise starving children got something to eat

We should all learn from his mistake and NEVER do drugs. |

Drugs or no drugs he will always be the greatest. |
