My daughter just left for vacation with her dad for a week, and I already miss her.... I counted down the hours now she's been gone for an hour, and I'm kinda sad about it....

I feel for you. My son was just 7 when his mom took him out of state. So I have been dealing with the "visitations" for 8 years. I hate that word "visitations". Now he lives with me and we make music together. My heart goes out to you. |

My daughter is in college now, but i remember the wonderful growth and strengthened bond that would happen as a result of time spent apart ... the payoff is there for you both.. best wishes!

Being away from someone you are used to spending alot of time with is difficult. The time goes by faster and easier if you stay busy and focus on activities.
Try not to count the hours. |

Isn't this the time when mom is supposed to break out the tequila and party without worrying about being a bad role model on said daughter??
Hang in there, chica! Absence makes the heart grow fonder! I'm sure she misses you just as much as you miss her, even 'tho she might not admit it!!
