How the heck does a washing machine cause your toilet to over flow? Are they on the same water line?
But hey, it it starts to happen while you are in the shower, just use the water gushing out of the toilet to rinse off. |

Do you live in a house or an apartment???? Look on the roof of the house above the drian for your washing machine.......maybe there's a vent.....should be one..... If there is.....run a water hose down that vent as far as you can.....then turn it on full blast for a few seconds.....make sure you don't overflow inside if it's too plugged for the hose pressure to work...... |

The plumbing past where the 2 join together....the machine is backing up into the toilet....... You might try pouring a whole 5 gallon bucket of water down the toilet real fast first and see if that pushes out the plug of (whateveritis) LOL. Then...problem solved.... |
