I would go to the place best capable of fixing it. You being happy with the tattoo is the most important part.

Well it depends
Were you not happy because it didn't turn out the way you wanted Did the artist make a mistake on it Is there someone else in the same shop that may be able to fix it since it was done there? I'd talk to your original artist first, let them know they'd rather have feed back and are usually willing to make you happy rather than get a lot of negative feed back If they completely screwed it up...I'd go to someone I trusted. I've gotten 7 tats and except for 1 all were done by the same artist who I knew and trusted, and you build a relationship with them just like you would your hair dresser etc... |

I would try to negotiate some sort of refund from the place where I got it, then go get it fixed somewhere else.

actually i would go back and tell them that the crap they did needs altering, so please fix it... and always use the words "thank you" LOL

Heres the bad.....
I took my cousin to get tats together today...we got matching tats in the same place....a larger star with a smaller star in the center....I told him that I wanted the outline to be bold....and he did both tats with a single line...and the shaping is off kilter....our stars arent symmetrical...and Its making me nuts... |

I wish you would not have recieved a tattoo to start. It has become so common and status quo.
being with flesh unmarred is so much more unique and bravely individual these days. |

If it is terrible looking you can see if another artist can do something with it, one of mine the flames are done in the wrong direction but I know they can invert them with some touch-ups...and the other one is just crap and will be completly covered. |
