I couldn't find a cat when I got home. I looked and looked and looked. The place isn't all that big. I found him shut up in the underware drawer...... I'm not sure how I could accidentally close up a cat in a drawer. A white cat in a mostly black drawer.......

I agree. It is kinda funny. What is even odder, after all day shut up in a drawer, he didn't meow or anything when I was shaking his food dish trying to find him. And he is the one that goes nuts for food the instant I walk in the door after work.
He kinda looked up at me like, "what are you doing, opening up my hiding spot?" |

You may not have closed him in.. mine somehow used to crawl underneath and get up in there. They are pretty sneaky!

Yeah, I'm also wondering if I left it open, and he was sleeping in there, and the other cat accidently closed the drawer when standing up and leaning on it to look in at the napping one.

They can climb up from under the dresser, mine do it all the time....

They can climb up from under the dresser, mine do it all the time.... It's just that it was a TOP drawer. The drawers fit up against the back. None of them were displaced for him to reach the top one. But I suppose it could be possible. I sometimes wonder if cats can turn into a mist or fog to get into places.... |

Unfortunately, 3. I had two. Brothers. So they could keep each other company when I'm at work or out. But a friend couldn't keep hers and she talked me into taking the male or he would have to go to the humane society.

I have a black cat and he used to get closed in the closet all the time.. Would just be sitting there looking at me when I opened the door...

Mine was so mad at me for leaving him for a week( somebody was feeding him) that he peed all over my bed and I had to get a new mattress....guess who else was PO'd ?

I like Moondark have three cats.1 got in the dryer 1 time as a kitten,took an hour to figure out where mews were coming from!My oldest at about 2 gotin closet,I came home 9 hours later.Felt so bad gave him tuna fish.
