Does anyone else hate Fighting to get to something you just bought from the Store. WTF Sometimes you almost break the darn thing

Most stuff they do it on purpose to prevent easy shoplifting, they can security tag the plastic, and if you can't open the plastic you can get whatever it is out to steal it

I especially hate all the tie things they have wrapped around all the kid toys - the metal plastic things. Makes Christmas very frustrating for me.

Opening "clamshells" (the form-fiting, vacuum-formed packaging used by almost everyone these days) is actually pretty simple- Take a pair of relatively-sturdy scissors and cut about 1/4-inch off of around the flattened edge of the packaging. This will get rid of the sonic-welded parts of the clamshell and should make it open up quite easily.
