Ok, here's a real question for you. Does it annoy you that U.S. citizens basically claim the whole western hemisphere? We don't say we're United Statans (which is way too close to Satans, now that I look at it). We say we're Americans. Or is is just generally accepted elsewhere that 'American' always means 'from the United States'?

We don't say we're United Statans (which is way too close to Satans, now that I look at it). We say we're Americans. Or is is just generally accepted elsewhere that 'American' always means 'from the United States'? Generally, being that I've kinda traveled a bit, we think it's cool for you to be the Americans. Doesn't bug us up here as we have a whole big pretty country that people associate us with rather than a more general statement. People always asked where I was from and I always got "You have a lovely North American accent" as no one wanted to offend me by calling me American. The fact that I was born in the US doesn't seen to matter all that much. I've been a Canadian since I was under 2 yrs old and no matter where I live or who I'm with, I will always be CANADIAN. Plus, we have great beer. |

Plus, we have great beer. We do too. We just import it. |
