anybody know a good way to get tar off rims? my rims are alumina... tried scrubbing with a tooth brush got some off but not all...

Be careful what you use. Some products will ruin the finish.

Mineral spirits. Works like a charm. I used it in all of my carshows.

My son works in a tire shop. He says try baby oil or go to buffalomilke.com and you can order a product from them.
