I hope I meet lots of cool people. Today is day 1 on this site...

I have alot of REAL FRIENDS on here.
I may not of met any of them yet in person, but they are very real and special to me. Some I have even talked on the phone with. I  my friends!

cyber friends i guess.! Ditto!!!!! And out of them 1/2 a hand full!!! from my perspective....this FRIEND thing is more game than reality. Most often one email then never heard from again EG: he who dies with the most cyber friends wins. VERY STRANGE... Who am I to judge!!! If having 300 at least semi attractive women on their list somehow feeds their ego and makes their day...then no harm done, I just leave them there and let it beeeeeee.

I have people I consider real friends on here. It's the 21st century, I don't think we're in Kansas anymore Toto! Times are changing, and I for one embrace this opportunity to meet new friends thousands of miles away! Sez you! Some of us are in Kansas still! 
But I agree with the sentiment!

Hmmm, I've met some awesomely cool people here who I consider it a major honor to call my friends (including the OP). Some, I've met in "realityland" and others, not yet. I consider myself blessed to have opened up my world that much more by meeting people here.

The friends I have made on here are true friends, each one is a different level of friendship. Some would die for me and some I would die for. Some are more like life coaches and some are like family. I value all the friends I have made and even those I don't know very well. And those that are mad at me, I still care about deeply. I've made a couple good friends on here and they have been there for me as i would for them. So to think that all my friends that are on my list are less then my friends that i have out here. is just wrong. They are here to celebrate the good times with me and help me get through the bad times. |

A friend once told me this little tidbit, a friend is someone that you can call no matter of the time of day to come and bail you out if needed. A great friend would be sitting right along next to you in the jail cell

I only have 6 friends on my friends list, kind of the same as in real life. Out of those 6, I have talked with 5 on the phone, and 3 of those 5 on many occasions.
I have known one for 17 years, and I met Terry (iam4u) last year when he was passing through Illinois. My view on friendship is kind of like Westside Story. When you're a friend, you're a friend for life. |
