A friend I work with went thru a breakup with his girlfriend, or at least that's what it seems like.
It's been 2 month's since it happened and they are still not back together, and barely talking. I told him it's time to walk away, but he thinking they can get past the problem. I think he's gone nuts, but persistence pays off sometimes. Is 2 months too long to hang on...no matter how much you love someone ? |

I think it depends upon the people and the situation. Some people are very stubborn and will disappear for longer periods of time than others. I knew a fellow who disappeared to only reappear after I met someone new. I think there have been many couples who have reunited after a long breakup, and it's just a part of their growth. You mention they are 'barely' talking.... this means they still talk and maybe he knows something you don't.
