Hi Mommy, It's Me

Hello mommy
It's me down here,
I hope I bring you
Love and good cheer.
Floating around
In this bubble of a womb,
It won't be long
But I'll be here soon.

Take good care of me
And yourself as well,
Feed me good
And watch your stomach swell.
Feed me good things
Feed me things with spice,
Nurture me with everything
And I'll come out sweet and nice.

I'll kick you now and then
To let you know I'm here,
I'll get the hiccups too
So you'll have no fear.
With all the pain in birth
I know you have to endure,
It will all be worth it
This I know for sure.

Very sweet - I have a photo on MySpace that shows a Momma's belly and just to her left of her bellybutton is the outline of her baby's foot protruding from her belly - it would be a perfect photo to perfectly match this poem........
