So I posted a few days ago about a date I had on Sunday which was fun except for a bad kiss. So we've talked and texted this week - no big deal. Tonight he texted me and asked me to meet him - he had something to give me. My birthday is tomorrow so I can't say I was overly surprised. I get there and see in his passenger seat that there was a Victoria's Secret bag and I said 'really?' kinda in a weird tone - he said it wasn't what I thought. Long story short - he gave me lotion, soap and stuff from Victoria's secret, white gold hoop ear rings and a silver bracelet.

My question - isn't that a bit excessive for only having gone out once? I thanked him profusely, but am kinda shocked.
