Here is what Obama really said "we could save all the oil that they are talking about drilling if everybody was just inflating their tires and getting regular tune ups. You could actually save just as much." http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XzZNP4tTfV0 How stupid was that! Guess Obama wants the cops to start ticketing motorist with underinflated tires.
Tires inflated and tune ups do save gas, it is a proven fact. I don't see anything wrong with the suggestion, it is not all he has said about oil and gas though. |

John McCain is gonna be humiliated in the presidential debates. He just doesnt stand a chance against Obama in a debate. I dont know if that means that Obama will win though.

Yeah. Ive seen both Obama and McCain in debates many times. I just dont see there being anyway that McCain is going to be able to come out of any presidential debate looking good against Obama.John McCain also has the tendency to become easily confused and its been getting worse for the last few years.Obama has him hopelessly outgunned in the speaking and charisma department and it has a lot to do with age, but quite frankly Obama is just a lot more likeable.

i wouldn't have thought that Obama would've fared
so badly against Hillary either. but he did.
i think it'll be more interesting that you think mirror. but i also don't think Obama can win. it is the electoral map. he's gonna lose VA, PA, OH, MI and FL i'm afraid. The map is gonna look a lot like Bush-Kerry. All the voters who voted previously for Bush will vote for McCain plus a large number of independents probably the majority of independence. Obama's lack of experience and Democratic political blunders will be his downfall. They pushed him too soon.... |

Its will be a shame that this country will be ran by a confused old man who is the definition of establishment politicians. What does McCain stand for? What does he offer?

If the election were held today they have Obama with well over the 270 electorial votes needed!! |

McCain has never been publicly vetted about what and how much medications he is taking. Aside from his anger and arthritic pain issues, McCain has had reoccurring bouts of malignant melanoma, a deadly form of cancer that can spread quickly throughout the body.

My current estimate of the electoral college would give:
Obama only 226 - California (55), Connecticut (7), Hawaii (4), Illinois (21), Iowa (7), Maine (4), Maryland (10), Massachusetts (12), Minnesota (10), New Jersey (15), New York (31), Oregon (7), Rhode Island (4), Vermont (3), Washington (11), Washington DC (3), Wisconsin (10), Delaware (3), New Hampshire (4), and New Mexico (5) that would leave McCain with 312. the trend in several important battleground states has been swinging toward McCain... these are only estimates but it could very easily be leaning this way. there are no other clear states for Obama. |

like i said, the recent shift has been
toward McCain in many of the key battleground states. Obama is in SERIOUS trouble in PA, OH, MI, FL, VA, NV, ND I don't see him winning in any of them at election time. This would reverse the count which you naively believe in...
he'll carry CA and NY but like I said it is looking like Kerry all over again. Sorry to say. And i'm not a McCain supporter. i'm pretty neutral but also realistic. The Dems did it to themselves though. |
