so you want to say whatever you want, and don't care if you offend someone, make people angry, or hurt someone's feelings. that's a bit selfish and childish. as many have pointed out, there are rules to abide by on this site and many others. it seems to me you aren't here for dating or socializing, so what truly is your purpose?

Funny you speak of Freedom of Speech.

But Freedom of Speech is about voicing your opinion and the right to do so. But..anytime that voicing your opinion crosses the rights of another it no longer falls under the Freedom of Speech Laws.

Also when you join a Website that is Owned by someone else and they have a set of Rules to follow. Then those rules are first and foremost.

It is just like If you go to a friends house say you smoke they do not. And the first thing they say is sorry No Smoking in my house and no cursing. Now are you going to tell me just because of the Laws outside that house you still have the right to Smoke and Curse if you so choose to?

I promise you that if you do they will show you were the front door is if you have forgotten.

Yeah it is more out of RESPECT then any LAW.

So therefore when you join a site that belongs to another. Read the FORUM RULES AND RESPECT THE RULES BEFORE YOU!!

I think your post was a fair one. Americans have been taught by the government to be fearful. This climate of fear can cause people to allow the government to assume greater powers in control/censorship/monitoring (Patriot Act), we end up being fed information which the government feels we need to hear, be it true or not. We even begin to be wary of eachother, this last point is shown by the moderators of this site denying your freedom of speech. The moderators believe they are doing right i know, but, by denying you your opinion they take a big step in the wrong direction.

Good point.

My guess is whining, complaining, right fighting, and playing the victim. One or all?

You see this is the way to come in and start off not by attacking others then all of a sudden portray yourself as the victim.

I'm just stating simply, what's the point of free expression, if we're worried about stepping on everybody's toes all the time? And yes, the rules apply to "some" people on here, as well in society that are close minded...I myself, have never been a close minded individual, and I don't really see any wrong in that.

I agree with quicksilver...all our lives, the government has spoonfed us what we think should be right or wrong...either through the media, or misguided sterotypes of what is acceptable or not, based on the government's standards..They think they know what is best for all of us, but when it comes down to it, all of us are individuals, having different personalities, and not all of us apply to the standard, cookie cutter mold they want everybody to follow.

Well, it's obvious that lilith fits the typical, cookie cutter mold all of society wants us to fit in...inside of this neat, structured bubble and everybody is going to live in harmony, and be like little sheep...I dunno about you, but I don't want to be a sheep, I want to make my own choices in life without anybody else making my decisions for me
