as i woke today. i heard some very sad news. as a live long braves fan. i was sadden to here skip Carey passed away. to me he was the voice of the braves. as for me he will be missed. i,m sure there is a place in heaven for you. good bye my friend. i will miss your comments no matter if braves won or lost. you always kept me laughing.

that makes me so sad. i didn't hear about it til right now. it seems like just a couple of years ago he was taking harry's place.

Wow, same here. I hadn't heard that either until now. What a shocker. I must've missed it on the Sports Center, but will watch tonight and see. I hate to hear that. I watched the Braves alot while living in SC. His dad was one of my all time favorites too. Bless Harry and Skip. My condolences go out to the family. Skip will be missed.
