my ex just bailed on my kids again, they are upset and hurt...and I am pissed off
he called yesterday and asked if he could take them to some fireworks and I said, of course (it's not his weekend)...and now he's NOWHERE to be found...and they are left hanging...why did he even bother...

some people (women do this also) just never learn. And they leave it up to the other parent to explain why they aren't there. I used to have to do that all the time with my son and his dad. He would promise him the moon, and never call or show up.
Sorry he is doing this to you and your kids. At least they know they can count on you.

I am the one with custody of my daughters and when the ex would plan to do something with the kids I would not let her tell them anything and nor would I until she was at the door ......problem solved.....
