just got back from meeting a guy that she met on the internet. He turned out to be something totally the opposite from what was on his profile in the looks department. How many of you have encountered this situation and how did you handle it?

I guess I don't understand people like that as I am honest and feel that I have nothing to lose by being honest.

So far that hasn't really happened, at least looks-wise. But if it does, I'll be the first to bring it up and let 'em have it!!!

Happens a lot. People post old pictures of themselves or tell lies about age etc.....you just never know!!

She said he didn't look anything like the photo. He was much shorter and fatter. She said the only thing the same was his voice. (they have talked on the phone) |

I met a man last year and the pic he had sent me was at LEAST 15yrs old, he looked NOTHING like it..
You finish the date out of courtesy and know that they weren't for you. My pictures are current and I don't lie about myself.. because if/when I do decide to meet someone they will find out anyway, so what's the point? I want someone to be honest with me. |
