If you base all of your decisions and emotions on the other person then you're co-dependent. If you lose your sense of self and rely on the other person to bolster your sense of self, then you're co-dependent. JMO :wink:

It's the opposite of being co-INdependent where you encourage each others successes and cheer flight.


It's (as said before) losing such a sense of self that you cling to your partner, and are possessive of their movement, and suspicious/fearful when they leave your monitored comfort zone.
