Why do people think that their decision to send an e-mail somehow obligates the other person to respond? It doesn't. No it does not obligate them .. but the foremost reason to respond i would say is common courtsy now is that too much to want .or do people just get ignored in person if they talk to you and they are not your type.? |

I am not going to be guilted into validating that behavior. I have no obligation to reply and I am not rude because I don't. I think people who send out form e-mails are rude. They dont' want to meet me- they just want to meet somebody. Forgive me if I don't fall on the floor and bow in gratitude. |

So when your profile says friends, it means what? Your not going to reply. If you don't want E-mails just say so. Even a blank page shows some respect. I don't like the choices, I thought friend was best. It's a starting point. I like to take the time to get to know someone, I don't "cyber" & I definately won't meet a guy for sex after chatting a few times. I enjoy chatting with people from all over the world, male & female. I always reply to an e mail unless it deserves a blocking. Umm..remind me what would deserve blocking so I can avoid that, wouldya??? lol |

They should have a "form email" that is a polite brush off so that way you can glance at the profile, make your decision and if its a nay, then just hit the reply that has this pre typed letter. That would probably be helpful to the receivers but even more infuriating to the senders I'm not gay, but I might be a little bit in love with you right now.... The "anti-mutual match" |

One hint is to use the word "rooster" when refering to a male chicken. |
