I have hit my man (when we were married... now divorced) and it was particularly for self defense cause he punched me first... sorry mistake if he thought I wouldn't hit back.

I did, once. I threw a vase at my ex after he told me that the only good thing I ever did in my life was bear our son. Of course, this was after he broke my car windshield, threw my keys in the ditch, and hit me. But I did throw it at him. I'm only sorry for how that made me feel. He laughed at me and told me he wanted to beat me to a bloody pulp, as it would feel really good and I so deserved it. I called 911.

It would have to be under a very unusual circumstance where he was way out of line with me, and still, it would be a reaction, not an intentional infliction.
