I was brought up to trust everyone, until they give you reason not to,
Then make it hard to earn back! That dont mean, Im loaning you any large amounts of money, but a $20 everytime, anytime, till you dont pay me back, then you can starve. I dont give a ****! Here have a beer!! |

Oh, Morena, I wouldn't say I have everything under control, necessarily,
particularly now going through "hormonal hell." However, what I meant by my post is that I feel that to say that someone has "trust issues," is just more of the same "blame the victim" mentality that is so prevalent today. So what I'm saying is that people who cannot be trusted ...e.g., those who lie, cheat, steal, whatever ...are the ones who have ISSUES... ...people who have a difficult time trusting because they have been the victim of liars, cheaters, etc., are not the ones with "issues," IMO. To me, that they can or are even willing to trust anyone at all is a major feat, in and of itself, all things considered. Someone who is still able to trust after all of that is a pretty damned emotionally strong and resilient person, if you ask me. |

your right jean, is sad that victims are left with scars and have a
problem trusting again, and if some one can overcome this, is a major achievement, I have a problem trusting people!!! |
