Notice that I quoted the Catholic Bible and not that darn evil KJV? If you look in a KJV, you will find the same message. "Love your neighbor", not "love your brothers and sisters". You are ignoring the elephant in the room, namely Jesus' words. WHY DID JESUS SAY YOU HAVE TO DO THE WILL OF GOD TO BE ONE OF HIS BROTHERS AND SISTERS? WHY DID JESUS SAY THAT SOME PEOPLE ARE THE CHILDREN OF GOD AND OTHERS ARE THE CHILDREN OF THE DEVIL? I've quoted those scriptures for you, but you continue to ignore them. Look at those verses. Read them. Ask yourself why you so desperately want to deny them. Ok, my mistake not copying and pasting. sorry!!!! you missed my point. From here I withdraw I respect your position, but mine stands. My Lord is the one who loves all of us regardless. Not the pharisaic God who comdemns. My God, as I know him, is one who loves all of us regardless. |

You are right, there isn't any. I have quoted Jesus to prove that what I am asserting agrees with what Jesus taught. I quoted Jesus too. But then you denounced the Bible from whence the quote came. Well, I denounce the Bible from whence your quote came then. It's no big deal. Clearly no one has a clue what Jesus might have said. To many bibles, who knows which one might be true, if any? I'm totally willing to accept that.

Tribo, You are mischaracterizing my post. I am not telling Abra that he can't participate, I'm simply explaining to him that the posts he was responding to were not directed at him. Read the posts and you will understand what I'm getting at. Abra is responding as if my posts were directed at him, they weren't. He was misunderstanding my posts, that's all. I was trying to explain to him, because he gets worked up and doesn't read my posts and just continues to respond. I simply wanted to avoid further confusion. |
