I have a big family and it would be impossible to please everyone...I hold family loyalty very high but my happiness and that of my children comes first

yup...loyalty to family more important.. than yourself.. because....of pride. it could be considered sinful to put yourself first all the time.

My family is highly disfunctional.... so pretty much the only family members I feel loyal to are my paternal grandparents.

I guess that depends on how loyal your family is to you as for me well we don't keep in touch.One family member was so rude they borrowed money right before christmas and has yet to pay up
