The Stupidity of some people amazes me. noway

This evening I took two of my adult kids to
the grocery store, and decided not to go inside
but rather wait outside.

When I pulled into the parking lot there was a
boader collie mix dog shut up in a car. No windows
were open what so ever. The dog was drooling
and crying. I took one look at him, and knew he
was in trouble. It is very hot out today. rant

I told the kids to go into the store and have them page the owners to come out, otherwise I
was going to call the police. I waited for only
a moment, getting ready to bust the rear side
auto window out. Because I knew the dog could
not wait much longer.

Thats when this lady came out with a full cart of
groceries and approached the car. I asked her if
this was her car. She said yes. I then proceded
to B*TCH her out on the dangers of leaving an
animal in a hot car without the windows open.
Told her she was liturally cooking her dog alive
in the vehical. I also told her- had she come out
any later, she would of found her dog dead.
That the temperature starts rising dramatically
within ten minutes.

Like children, I told her you can't leave them in a car either. The heat raises very fast in an auto just like an oven. She said she only meant to run in for a second, and did'nt even think about it. explode

I told her if it is too hot- just leave your dog at home, and when you do take him with you,
unroll all the windows a bit. I told her I was about to bust her window to rescue the dog when
she came out. She said she would never leave
her kids in a car, but did'nt think about the dog.
I told her to treat the dog like it was your
child, and don't cook him in the oven again!

Another man got out of his car, and told her
also she could not do that to an animal.
I am glad I was in the right place today for
sure, or that dog would be dead.

I work at a retail store, and this has happen many times. We have evenhad to call the police and the owners can get arrested for cruelity to animals. Most people do not realize how hot a closed car can get. The temp inside a car can be 10- 20 degrees hotter.

I am guilty of leaving my dog in the car even in the Summer she always traveled with me but I also carried bottles of water and a bowl for her and roll down the windows even if i'm only leaving her for a second.

You think that is sick. I wasn't at work at on the day it happened but some one put there dead dog in a shopping cart.

I guess that person left there dog in a car too long.

Some people just don't think, and probably about the time they do start to think it's with the wrong part of there brain.

I'm glad you were there to do something about that. Though, I probably would have called the police anyway. It's so sad when people can't be responsible with pets.

I'm just glad I did'nt have to brake a window.
With my luck I would of probley gone to jail for it. whoa

I only hope I instilled the "FEAR" into her really
good- so that she does'nt ever do it again.

My kids were like... "Wow Mom! You went vigilanty
on her a$$."

Don't mess with an animal when I'm around, I tell ya! shades
