tell him how much it bothers you and ask if he might use another address so you can heal and move on

Tag the email address as spam, or if you can, set anything from the email address to be auto deleted.
Let him know that you have done this. He'll soon get the message not to use the email address again. |

why doesnt he just use or get his own?
might have to block it if its really hurting you |

Yeah you certainly need to let him know how it makes you feel. I'm sure he will totally understand. Guys sometimes don't think, you all know that.

The hardest thing I ever had to do was delete my best friends number from my phone after he passed. I don't know why, but his illness, the funeral - even helping his wife go through his things did not bother me as much as deleting his number from my cell. It bothered me for days.
Blocking it may be a step you are not ready to take. I would just tell your friend that it bothers you, and if he has an ounce of compassion, he'll stop. So sorry for your loss. |

I agree with posts ^ me. Tell him how you feel. After losing a loved one you will never completely get over it. But his legacy will still continue because you carry him in your heart. I know it's easier said than done, but it's best to focus on the positive memories you had with him. Be thankful that you had the chance to know him while he was here. And know that no one really dies. They just transform into their spiritual being. Also it isn't the end. One of these days (hopefully many years down the road), you will see him again on the other side. I hope you find the strength to get through this.
