I've found that it's realy hard for me to be comfortable if done too soon. I don't open up too well.

I have just gone about it as being gaga over the lady, from the word GO! The minutes and hours of being gaga turn into days and weeks of endless sensual burning-need-sate-burning-need-sate-burning-need-sate. Somewhere in that timeline, there were "dates" strewn among the relentless sex. It just doesn't happen any other way, for me. Dating? That's just an excuse for risking failure.

In the past I have waited until 6 months..............but now that Im in my 30's I have to say it can take from a 1st date to whenever it depends on the chemistry......the man im with now it was our 2nd date.................im soo bad........... hey and we are still together and been for the past year and a half............yeah it can happen people time restrictions are for the young.........too old to waste time...............

Wooo, that sounds like revolution! Restrictions for the young, let us more mature ones do whatever we feel like! There's no way I would want to end up with someone anywhere else than on neutral ground on a first date. First date and sex equals desperation or youth. At a certain age you want to combine the physical with the emotional, which is impossible on a first date.

i heard once "dont confuse chemistry for compatability" it has happened to me. I feel that waiting a while is best, and makes the experience better also.

I don't think numbers matter.. or keeping score or time. You do it when you do it and if you do it right both partners are satisfied... And the sky is a deeper blue... The crickets song is sweeter... And all of your being is as it should be.
