"It depends".
Don't ya just love that answer :) But again, it will matter in some respects. The biggest obstacle would be mutual intellect. In other words, being able to talk about various subject matter where both people can relate and contribute. It would be tiring to have a one-way conversation all the time. Having common interests dont always count. Eventually, if the conversation dies, the relationship will most likely faulter at some point. There's always been this unwritten understanding that younger woman date/marry older men, especially at a younger age, because, believe it or not, men mature later :) My own personal experience: my first wife (deceased) was 10 years younger than me; my second, 7 years. A recent long term relationship - she was 11 years younger. Maybe that says I'm 10 years less mature? :) I think it's more about my attitude. I dated a woman that was 22 years younger than me - it lasted a very short time because of what I mentioned about the mutual intellect. Cheers! |

lower than 25 is pushing it for me, a level of maturity comes into play. As for older, hmmm around 45.

I'm generally attracted to older men, but if I were attracted to someone younger, I would think it would be no more than 10 years. As for older, I have recently dated someone 16 years older than me and surprisingly he could keep up very well! But, I think that would be my limit.

I would never date someone whose license plate or SSN ended in the digit 3.
Whattaya mean, "it's just a number"....? Hmmmm. Well, I would never date someone whose shoe size was 6. Hmmmmm. Yeah. Age = Maturity like Baboons = Macaroni. Sorry, I have WAY too many disqualifiers before I can even begin thinking about age as a serious determinant.... |

I'd like to stick in the age range of 25-40 but depends on the person. There is room for exceptions...

I've usually leaned towards to the older men 30-45 age group, but have discovered most can't keep up, and the younger group of 20-25 seem to be missing out with the mental challege I'm looking for
And this is based off my own experience not trying to generalize all men by any means. I'm happy being single and collecting a variety for my Cabanna Boys on here though |

I am not going to say my age....and if you haven't looked, only seen my picture, or if you met me, you probably would guess incorrectly
i get Hot listed by 20 somethings and hit on by 50+ and i've dated both within the past year.... In one of my profiles I list my range for dating as 20-70 And I like it that way..... |

20-50 for me. I am not predigious. I have to have someone take pity on me. LOL!!!!

Well I like my men older than me so 24-35... My ex that I just left is 43 so if I can really connect with someone I guess it really doesn't matter.

I would have to say 30-48 about does it for me

Somewhere between 25'ish and 40'ish.
From my own experience under 25 and women are still pretty much undecided about what they want. As for the 40'ish...well...I am almost there myself. Can't put too many limits on it these days. |
