Be honest, no one really knows. And if they do, they can't prove it to you. It is something people have to find out for them selves. I think telling her anything but that would be miss leading.

My daughter is 7 and she loves to ask "why" all day long!! Just recently why is there a God! She says it in a serious tone and face! Looks adorable! so why!!! awww I remember those days well, no matter how you respond they will continue to look at you for further explanations... Daddy/Mommy but why? but why? enjoy these are for her continue to question why

I think it comes down to what type of person you would like your daughter to be. One with an inquisative mind, or one who blindly accepts. I for one will never stop asking why?.

Why! Why! Why! okay tell me now! As in telling you WHY would it be, ... that while on a RELIGION CHAT (slang for dicussion) FORUM, it is for all intent and purpose IMPOSSIBLE to hold a DISCUSSION 'ABOUT' RELIGIONS, ... from purely ontological and historical perspectives, ... as opposed to the uncnscious and automatic 'BEING RELIGIOUS', and its counter part, where the repetitive, same-old-same-old dogmatic, personnal, and proselytizing perpectives take all the space??? If you tell me I have the right answer to your WHY! invitation, I might come back tell you more WHY's!!! :)

It is not bad to not know. That should be the lesson. Be humble, when a person doesn't they should say so, or run the risk of lieing. That would be bad for a person's relations.
