So...it seems the "success" of a relationship is directly correlated to it's longevity. Can't a relationship be considered successful if, at it's conclusion or morphing, both parties have learned something about themselves / what they can do to be a better person / any other "life lesson" - and haven't killed one another in the process? Success tends to be something taught to people, some do find their own methods of success...such as mine is leveled by my happiness, as long as I am happy I am successful. On his behalf, he WAS also dealing with the wind machine - to get that sexy "slightly wind-blown" effect...I mean, I can forgive him for the lighting. |

I totally think you can learn from it and still be friends. I was engaged four times before my husband...still am friends with all of them and learned from each one.....and with hubbyy going on 29 years.
