Like a tsunami
His words
Left my thoughts scattered (all over the place)

Felt
The eruption
Rumbling in my gut
An earthquake of uncontrollable
Tears
Fell
I wasn’t prepared

Not
Quite sure
Where his words were geared

Shattered
All logical understanding

Could it be
Were they meant for me
Or was he confessing his love to another

Tormented
I tossed and turned
Till dawn

Trying to resurrect my soul
By convincing myself
That I was just tripping

I prayed unfocused prayers
Meditation could not be fulfilled
Silently asking the Most High
To send out a search party
To find my heart
Which had disappeared
It dropped & sank
Over 365,000 feet into the earth’s core

I sent out an SOS
Text message
Waving signals
Across bandwiths
Hoping a rescue mission
Would find it

But received no answer
I guess my signal failed

Lost in the desert of desperation
I can’t see straight
And the only thing I have to hold on to is an assumption
The truth
I can only speculate

This is not how love should be
I should know the answer
Without doubts or questions

Confusion lends to destruction
Much like Natural Disasters
Once hit
Things are never the same.
