Good evening all. I had a good day. Was able to get my van home from a garage. My friendly mechanic was just too busy at his shop so he had the van towed to another shop. The van had been parked where I had left it without being repaired before that since he is mostly into painting vehicles before he had it towed to another mechanic. I have met a new friend in the process and my older friend got a cut rate deal on the tow charge since it was from one garage to another. I just have to pay the lesser tow charge. But this new guy has worked on my type of Mitsubishi engine a lot and even had one just like it in his shop. What really impressed me was this new guy wasn't stoned or cheating on his wife with another woman. I kind of admire that in a man. Call me old fashioned. It impressed me so much that I asked for a card for future repairs and he had checked out my vehicle for things he told me that needed immediate attention. Was good to get the van back and I have had an offer on my car. I told them as soon as I get the van in safe running condition that I would be wanting to sell the car so that I wouldn't be stuck for insurance on two vehicles. I just got back from my AA meeting and it was good to be around friends.

Good Evening Everyone. How did your day go?

My day didn't turn out quite the way i had planned but it's still good.

I have had a delightful day. I went to the restaurant to get something to eat at the buffet. Stopped by Fred's to get some Orastat for a broken tooth. Last night I was rearranging pictures. I have some 8 by 11 frames that I aligned along a ledge that is 16 inches by 12 feet. I am trying to make room for some bigger pictures on the open wall areas. Yesterday, I noticed a nice large picture of a couple of 16th century sailing ships on a nice ocean background. A friend had acquired it by helping another friend move. I finished putting shelves in an abandoned window that originally the outside of the house but became the inside of the master bedroom. I just have to enclose the outside of the room that leads into another room with material. I am thinking of going with window material for the backing instead of just plain wall. That way if I get into collecting something like say one foot tall collectibles it will have a nice background.

Instead of window material I meant to say mirror material. I am wondering if I get mirror-like tile.

sounds like ur down to the finishing touches. I still need to do more of that in my place, but it's getting there.
