You get out of religion only what you put into it. Can you elaborate further please ? Not much elaboration needed. Religion is very much like everything else in life, be it one's family, job, whatever. People devote time and effort into these things and people get out what they put in, sometimes even more. Go to work one day a year, see your family one day a year, go to church one day a year? You don't get much out of it. The more you take part in these things, the more you get from them. |

As long as you look at religion rather than faith it is totally boring. However, the end result of the message of Christ is to seperate us from the world and peel away the issues that hinder us from seeing the reality of the spirit. Religion or regilio is a system. All systems are physical and therefore tend to lean towards being mucked down with the physical. Even Jesus had no real us for religion. How many times did he belittle the religious leaders of his time? I know that most won't really understand this but it is another view of this subject.

My problem with religion is : it is fake , a hoax ,non sense ,and represents a primitive life full of contradictions and stupidity . So we are not in the same boat . |

As one non-denominational speaker I once heard said; "The greatest threat to Christianity is religion." There are so many interpretations and views, it does all become so confusing. Have enough faith though and everything becomes clearer because instead of questioning, you become accepting. Maybe not in the same boat, but on the same water! |

Your boat is much too shallow and narrow for most people to fit into. |
