I do not find it creepy at all. You want to know more about WHAT you say? Ummmm YOU. I mean they could say nothing at all not show any type of interest. This is a dating site that is what we are here for, is to get to know each other.

Makes sence, i never thought of it that way well, you would think that they would just start off getting to know you, rather than saying that they would like to. there's that...and the odd number of times that that exact statement is included in an email. it almost feels like code for something I'm not privy to. Maybe its just the opposite of the meaning, maybe its the idea that the men dont really care. Ahh , it seems like you said that they would ask more specific questions about things they really want to know, to know everying seems too odd. Interesting that this phrase is common. |

I really don't see anything creepy about it I think your reading more into this then should be ..I think there is a lot of questions that people take out of context....yes one should be precise in what they have to say ...but in the spirit of dating it is sometimes not easy....thats all I got to say !!

but it is at least a specific question. how would any of you respond if someone said "I would like to get to know you more" Here or in person I seriously would have no problem with that question.....We all have to start somewhere and that to me is a fair question, At a party a guy walks over and says, I have noticed you here tonight and you have a great smile and "I would like to get to know you more" What is you favorite food? Where is the coolest place you have ever been? Did you like school? My point is it leads to simple question and sometime love can come for simple places. My .02 |
