I always see in profiles where somone people will put, i want this i want that, i expect this i expec that. only once in a while i will see someone put i'm will to give.
Why is this world so stuck on i want and not more of what ill give? |

Been on here for almost two years. I think i've read plenty poeple on the forum are one thing. I'm talking about the ones that you never see on here.

When you describe yourself in your profile, assuming you do, isn't it implied that this is basically what you're giving? If I say I'm a half wit smartass, that likes movies and long walks by the land fill, aren't I really offering to give this?

Is it you that you onlt see or is there more to you then what you expressed. it usually get somone talking and ill get a feel to see where they stand, but what i have found out. Most have no clue what they want, that just put what looks good on there profile, so when i come along. It throws them off. Gee i wonder why? |

For me today, i try to look at what do i have to offer, if i'm willing to give or at least have an open mind about it. I seem to meet more people this way and have made bettter friends. I have no problem giving of who i am as long as i don't feel it just me doing the work. |

I agree completely TheShadow. Friendship is about give and take but as you rightly state it has to be 50/50 for it to be a successful friendship!!!
For me today, i try to look at what do i have to offer, if i'm willing to give or at least have an open mind about it. I seem to meet more people this way and have made bettter friends. I have no problem giving of who i am as long as i don't feel it just me doing the work. Sorry TheShadow I made an error there. My post is above yours in the quote!! Must quit this damn
