Topic: My Matilda Mae | |
---|---|
I have left this site, kind of...just check e-mail occasionally, but have become close to a few of you and needed to share this. Last December I lost my job and was unable to care for my sweet little 4 lb Yorkie , Matilda Mae...frinds of my son offered to take her into their home and care for her. They had 2 small children and I felt it was the perfect environment for my baby. I have just received word today...because my saon has been trying to figure out a way to tell me, that on April 13th, 2008..Matilda was let out the back door to potty and instead of returning to the door as usual, she slipped off into a neighbor's yard. The neighbor was outside and instead of letting my son or the people "watching" her know that she was loose, he picked up a 22 rifle and shot my beloved Matilda Mae. She struggled to the back porch and although several people attempted to stop the bleeding, they were unable to help her. She lay gasping for air until there was no more. The local police were called and my son was told that since Matilda was in his yard, there was nothing that could be done. My heart is ripped to shreds as are the hearts of my family and friends for she was a very loving soul and always happy to meet new people. PLEASE>>>if you have a pet, don't forget that terrible things like this happen everyday...there are millions of heartless people in this world and if this can save the life of one innocent animal it will help me tremendously...PLEASE tie your pet when they are outside...save them the suffering and yourself the heartache. Sadly , Kim

thank you for your supposrt. I have written a letter to the newspaper in Coatsville Indiana and I am just at a loss as to why the SPCA was not called on this guy...I pray that God shows no mercy on his soul, and may his last moment in life be spent staring down the barrell of his own gun.

I understand your pain but I don't think we should wish him with death. Only pray that he realizes what he did and feels our pain and learns what he did was wrong and it wont happen again.
