imo...its a hard "label" to overcome if the cheater is honest with his/her future b/f or g/f...but id never be with someone that i knew was an actual cheater.and id never stay with one either if they had cheated on me.

Well, lets look at it like this. Before the person cheated, they were a non-cheater. So, they never had cheated, until they one day do the deed. So, the "Once" part from the saying comes into effect. But here is the thing. If you screw up one time, realize it, then make amends to never do it again, you have gone back to what you were. However, you did, in fact cheat, so therefore, this saying is pretty much accurate. Once you do cheat, you have that label no matter what you say or do. I rest my case.
