Why does it always have to be about the looks? What ever happened to whats on the inside? In all fairness, you have to have some actual attraction to the person. That is what gets your interest at first. Then, once you find out they cannot spell, you hand them a dictionary and you go off, being vain looking for the next good looking woman or man that you hope can at least spell the word "potato" (Did I get it right?)

I can overlook bad spelling if the message makes sense and doesn't start with "hey baby"

Sometimes, for those of us holding higher education degrees, seeing a lot of misspelled words can be like fingernails on a chalkboard. I really try to look past that though. That said, in today's society, with so many foreigners making their home here, it's hard to determine if it's lack of education or a poor grasp of the English language. I have 5 children. 3 are excellent spellers. 2 are not. As others have said, I hope they never get judged of character in light of their spelling. But I hope they always strive to do their best in this as in everything else. I won't say I don't appreciate a well-educated man. But I've dated plenty of guys with just a high-school education and some of them were better in their heart of hearts than the educated ****-wad
