If you're in a serious relationship, do you think you have the right to see all the messages on your partners phone and emails, and for them to see yours? |

The way I see it is, if your going to be in a relationship with someone, everything should be in the open. I wouldn't care if someone I'm with wants to read my email, texts, etc.. If someone wants to be with you, then you share your life together. Unless you have something to hide. It isn't about trust issues. It's about being an open book, with an open heart and mind. I have yet to find someone who really understands that concept.

its called accountability...each has to be accountable to the other. should i be able to look through her phone? yes. should she be able to look through mine? yes. where this is cool is...should she have to? should i have to? nope...if you find yourself needing to look and cant...danger is imminent... i needed to look through hers, she got real mad and protective when i did, now we are divorced...ummm...get it?

Yeah I get it.. Then don't get mad and protective. That's where the trust issues lie... You have to learn to trust.. |

If you're in a serious relationship, do you think you have the right to see all the messages on your partners phone and emails, and for them to see yours? I'm not intrusive like that. If I wanted to know I would ask, and if I still didn't believe/ trust him then I would move on. |
