The family that eats together stays together.
We did and mom and dad celebrated their 40th last year, but I don't think that was the reason, lol. |

Yes.. I do believe this But if you do not like the people you are eating with... it just doesn't matter.

No don't thing so, my family did eat together but my Mom was alway picking something up off the table and hurling it at my Dad, so needless to say they did not stay together.

A family that plays together stays together as well...lots of activities that are enjoyable to all...plenty of excercise to keep everyone fit and healthy.

WELCOME BACK PECCY!!!!!
Yes, we ate supper together every night growing up. One thing that was a family time event. |

All this sounds great if only it was that simple!!
But.............. this is reality all in all it all comes down to the two main adults and communication, dreams and willing to see things through no matter how tough they get. You see back then they were raised not to give up so easy in life and to stick things out. That marriage meant something that two people worked at together and Divorce was not and option. Now days Divorce is just and option with out any thought given to it. Marriage is just considered to way too many just a piece of paper. Until everyone starts looking at marriage as a binding contract and the words Death till we Part mean anything then the Divorce rate will still be rising more and more. Or it will completely slow down due to less and less will get married and just live with each other for that piece of paper does not mean anything to them. JMO |
