I think lol. can someone conferm? yes... but there is a respectful way to burn the flag here it is::: Section 8k of the Flag Code states, "The flag, when it is in such condition that it is no longer a fitting emblem for display, should be destroyed in a dignified way, preferably by burning." We recommend that you contact your local VFW Chapter and ask them for help properly disposing of your flag. And be sure to consider providing a small donation to them for their assistance. Or you can contact your local Elks Lodge (who created the idea of Flag Day, established officially by President Truman, himself a member of the Elks), the American Legion, or the Knights of Columbus. Some Boy Scout and Girl Scout troups also can provide this service.

If ya feel the need to burn our flag.... please wrap yourself in it first!!! actually...I have so many Flags....when they get all messed up from the winter I'm going to fold them up and put them in a box.... As long as this war is in session.... As long as my son is in Iraq..there will be a Flag...even if I have to stick it in my hair... Any one messes with my Flags..especially Sept -May...they will experience the inability to breath... just like me many mnay days....

Unfortunately flag burning is a constitutionally protected right as a sign of protest.

I will respect someone's right to do it, although I don't personally see the purpose in burning a flag.

The flag burners you have to look through smoke and flames to get a clear shot, while the flag burner protestors are just standing there.
